Deliverance First and First Youth Church Community Outreach

Deliverance First and First Youth Church CLG are Proud to be a part of  Utica New York various community outreach programs. One program that we have participated in for the past five years is called "The Utica New York Kids Eat Free Summer Lunch Program" which provides lunches for youth between the ages of Toddler to eighteen years old. We not only provide lunches for those youth who during the summer may not have lunches to eat, but also we show and share the Love of Jesus Christ. The church is committed to let the Youth of our city know, that God is not only concerned with their natural life, but their spiritual lives as well.

We have been blessed to start our own (Backpack Give Away Program) through our First Youth Church of the Living God CLG which is directed by our own Youth Pastor Elder Jamina M. Lilley. She has taken on this project and ministry for the last four years, and has given away Hundreds of backpacks to children who may not have been able to afford to get one at the beginning of the school year. Pastor Jamina and Apostle Kathy L. Hughes has worked together not only to assist with our own Deliverance and First Youth church members, but also the surrounding communities that we have been blessed to serve. We also are excited to be been chosen to be apart the "Stuff The Bus Children's Christmas Giveaway" presented by Fidelis Care to provide toys for the less fortunate of the Utica, New York, and Mohawk Valley Regional Communities. 

Apostle Hughes and Pastor Jamina are also on the board of Pastors that meet with the Mayor and other community legislators monthly to address the current violence  and issues that effect our community in a negative way. Deliverance First and First Youth Church participate in monthly peace and prayer walks with other churches and outreach groups to help educate our community through the Word of God, and provide scriptural principles of peace, holiness, and faith.

Our Ministry is committed to bring Gods Love and Salvation not only the people who attend our church, but to the whole city of Utica New York. We expect God to be Glorified in the ministry and vision that he has given to our Apostle Kathy Hughes. We also are proud to serve our city with natural and spiritual resources of love and concern for the youth of our great city by Pastor Jamina M. Lilley.
